  • You should be able to backup all your computers: Servers, Desktops and Laptops.
  • Backup up should be possible wherever the location of your computers: Head Office or remote locations such as Hotel, Home or Branch Offices.
  • You should have various backup strategies available such as Total, Selective and Immediate Backup. These strategies should be comprehensives using Profiles.
  • It should be simple to install and configure thru wizards, simple to use and include simple and automatic reports with summary and detailed sections.
  • You should stay in control of your enterprise data. Backing up in the cloud is ok only if you stay in control, not the user.
  • In addition to the manufacturer tools, you should be able to restore files or whole computers using Windows built-in tools like WBAdmin or NTBackup. Having to look for proprietary restore software in an emergency situation can slow you down.
  • You should be able to backup to disk. They are faster and much more reliable than tapes.
